One of my most favourite places in the world, it’s where I am now. It has a hippy heritage that has evolved over many years, with more commercial influences changing its landscape every time I come but the culture that exists here remains the same – why? Because the people who come here bring that. Culture is a set of beliefs and a make up we all bring to a place, a culture may already exist because of a heritage but if the people who are in that space now bring different beliefs it will change. Thankfully in Bryon despite the commercialisation and popularity the heart of the people who come here share the same beliefs as those hippies and so culturally things have stayed the same. What has happened where you are? do you check the values and beliefs of the people who share your space fit with what you want your culture to be? do you believe you can change a culture despite the people?
